I
would like to personally welcome you to the Children's Hospital of
Michigan Pediatric Residency Training Program.
Children's
Hospital of Michigan is one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the country and
offers outstanding training programs. Our residents and fellows are exposed to
diverse urban, suburban and regional referral populations. Children's Hospital of
Michigan strives for educational excellence in a dynamic and supportive environment where
young physicians can train and prepare themselves personally and professionally for the
practice of medicine in the twenty-first century.
Residents are an integral part of the health care team at Children's.
Our training programs are designed so that residents assume greater responsibility
as they progress. Training is both hands-on and didactic, with at
least two daily
conferences for house staff. The faculty at Children's and Wayne State University
School of Medicine is dedicated to the instruction and guidance of pediatric residents,
taking particular pride in their development.
This online brochure provides you
with an overview of the Children's Hospital of Michigan Pediatric Residency Training
Program. Hopefully, it will answer many of your questions.
We look forward to receiving your
application and thank you for your interest in Children's Hospital of Michigan.
